about

Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings recorded “Tear It Down” during the Soul of a Woman sessions in 2016. Sharon was always passionate about progressive political issues and was a vocal critic of Donald Trump’s plan to build a wall dividing two nations. All proceeds from sales of “Tear It Down” through the Daptone shop or Bandcamp will go to the National Immigration Law Center, a policy education, legal training and litigation support resource for immigrants. Visit nilc.org for more info.

All donations made in the first 24 hours were matched by Daptone Records - Thank you to everyone who has supported!

“They keep trying to build more walls, we will tear them down.”
